People first, safety always

Would you feel comfortable opening up to someone you don't know?

That's the position many of my clients are in! It's super hard for many people to be vulnerable in the first place, let alone with a stranger.

Pasifika people, particularly our men, are often taught to keep our emotions private. It's easy to feel a deep paralysis when it comes to talking about our issues.

This is why I lead with Alofa, always.

Approaching people with kindness is so important. I want my clients to feel nothing but safe and comfortable when they're with me. This allows for the level of trust we need to create meaningful change in their lives.

How do you make the people around you feel safe?
